Hoi An is a city made for sketchers. A UNESCO World Heritage site on Vietnam's central coast, its old town is a preserved masterpiece of trading-port architecture — vivid yellow walls, wooden shop-houses, silk lanterns strung across narrow streets, and the gentle Thu Bon River flowing past.
Over 10 days we will sketch the old town at different times of day — golden morning light, the vibrant afternoon market, the magical lantern-lit evenings. We'll visit the fishing village of Cam Kim, sketch in the rice fields, and explore the hidden pagodas and riverside temples that make Hoi An endlessly rich for the urban sketcher.
Daily group sketching sessions with guided instruction, individual feedback, and evening reviews. Accommodation in a boutique guesthouse. All skill levels welcome — beginners and experienced sketchers alike will find this a deeply rewarding experience.
